  • got rid of my about me because i doubt anyone reads it and tbh you don’t really need that much info on me anyway, lol. but i’m making this pinned post as a compromise!

my basic info is in my blog description. this is just other things you might want to know that would have previously been on my about page, minus the more personal info.

current hyperfixation: super paper roblox (lol)
other fandoms that pop up the most frequently: infinity train, undertale / deltarune, ib (the rpgmaker game), probably the owl house soon

mutuals / people i follow have permission to ask me for:
    - things i need tagged (i have so many keywords blacklisted with tumblr savior that this honestly isn’t enough of a problem to have a public trigger list anymore.)
    - my full fandom list
    - my discord (however we must have talked some on tumblr beforehand!)

    things you should probably know:
    - i switch hyperfixations at the drop of a hat, and my blog content changes with them.
    - i like fictional villains. no, i do not condone any of the many, many crimes they have probably committed.
    - i’m very anti-cringe culture.
    - i stay out of fandom drama as much as humanly possible.

and i think that’s about it! thank you so much if you decide to follow.

  • idk jokes just dont become unfunny to me. i love literally repeating the same thing over and over again. i may get bored eventually but never seriously annoyed

  • i rely on templates to be social a lot actually. a lot of time hanging out with friends means repeating the same phrase to eachother over and over again

  • many such phrases

  • I love the idea of polls for characters that wouldn’t win otherwise because they’re too obscure, so I want to know what character people have the most strong opinions about, specifically who can split a room between negative or positive opinions the best.

For example: i haven’t heavily interacted with fandom since steven universe days so I’ll use Rose Quartz as an example. People either think she’s a soft uwu mom victim of the diamonds or an evil irredeemable space despot. I have never met a steven universe fan with a neutral opinion about her.

So that’s how your blorbo can win this poll: by being divisive. They don’t have to be popular or from a popular media, they just need the people who know them to have a strong opinion about them. In this poll, the character with the MOST EVEN balance of votes wins. I’ll post an example poll to show what I mean, but basically you’re encouraged to submit a blorbo if you love them or hate them! Either one helps them in this poll! I’ll be accepting submissions for a week from today (May 16th- May 23rd) and choosing the characters with the most love AND hate submissions (please don’t submit your blorbo on both sides to boost them, be cool about it), the amount will be based on how many submissions I get.

  • You Are Not Immune To fanart of characters who die in canon that has them alive and well, with scars from the wound that originally killed them

  • Friendly reminder that the reason you feel so much better is because of your meds, don’t stop taking them unless you talk to your doctor first, you really do need them, I promise.

  • Around June I stopped taking my eye medication because I hadn’t had a problem with my eyes in months. I got really lazy about doing it; then I stopped them altogether.

Turns out, the reason I stopped having problems with my eyes was because I was religiously taking my medication. Whodathunk. Now I have to work to get back to the place I was before I decided I was “better” (I wasn’t!).

If you thought this post was just about anti-depressants or lithium, it could be! For me, this post is about eyedrops, for you it might be about antibiotics, or it might be about zoloft. Whatever it is, please consider talking to your doctor before making a sudden shift to stop taking it. It’s not bad to be on medication. It’s not bad to need it.

  • …and on a related note, do not let anyone tell you that because you start feeling worse if you don’t take your medication, that means you’re “addicted”. That is not how addiction works.

  • Okay everyone reblog this version

  • group chats and servers scare me so much i will drop in there once every 3 months to show a picture of my cat or a screenshot of a game im playing and then ill disappear from the face of the earth forever

  • Sorry if i joined your server and then left or stopped talking after 24 hours passed. I scared

  • literally anything handmade is so dope. idc what it is it could be anything. a quilt, a painting, a basket, a sweater, a wooden table, a shed, a meal. how magical

  • i was looking for special cat feeders because ours are gluttons who gorge themselves and i found this one...device:

come to the dark side we have dry food scattered in strategically designed green colored plastic tubes

  • Mental illness can be cured by thinking about The Character but be careful because mental illness can also be caused by thinking about The Character

  • “Your art isn’t valued by the number of notes you get” okay but. If you spent 6 hours baking a cake for a party, but no one at the party eats your cake, it’s still disappointing.

  • This articulates something about the different between value and validation that I didn’t previously register on a conscious level.

  • This is why I tell people I feel more like an entertainer than an artist.

I want to hear them laugh, chat, comment, speak, roar, cry, get irrationally angry, I need people to respond to my art and get inspired and need more.

    I don’t want a note, I want a response.

  • Responses are very nice. I like reading over them. They make me feel fuzzy. Of course, likes and reblogs are also very appreciated, but responses make me feel a special kinda fuzzy.

  • That’s the thing about the “oh, create for yourself, don’t worry about other people!” attitude (that almost exclusively comes from non-artists and people who have tons of followers and routinely get tons of validation for SOME reason) that doesn’t quite work. I guarantee you, most of us already ARE creating for ourselves above all-

But we POST our creations for human connection, and that’s not a bad thing.

  • I’m not sure when we all got to the point where wanting validation for something you worked hard at is seen as a bad thing. That you’re pathetic for wanting.

If you think that way it’s not only toxic as hell it’s killing creators.

Creating isn’t easy. When there’s nobody to look at your work and say, “You did a good job. This was hard.” The drive and ambition disappears, then so does the work.

    Give your content creators value.

    Reblog content.

NO I VERY MUCH DO NOT

  • developing fixations is so funny i’ll watch something and be like yeah i’m normal about this. and then three days later i’m

  • The last character you drew/wrote about is now stuck in the last game you played. How screwed are they?

  • treat this the same way you'd treat an image-carrying post you like (art or fanart specifically)

i just look at the post

    i like the post

    i queue the post

i reblog the post right away

this poll will stay up for a week so if you'd reblog the art post please do reblog the poll too, i want to see how many people an art post from an art blog w 3k followers like mine can reach (considering that most of those 3k went awol after the p0rn ban and/or arent active anymore)
